Crash test of Freedom 125 How well did Freedom 125 hold up in a frontal collision?

Bajaj Freedom 125 underwent a frontal collision test by colliding with a 1.5-tonne object. You can consider this object as an average mid-size SUV. The bike collided with this 1.5-tonne object while running at 60 kmph.

CNG vehicles give more mileage and their running cost is also less. But these vehicles bring security risks with them. That is why Bajaj showed that its new CNG bike has passed a stringent crash test. The company has tested the strength of this bike by hitting it in the front and driving a truck over it.

After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the collision did not cause any damage to the CNG tank. It is still securely in place. Additionally, the pressure gauge indicated that there was no leakage of CNG due to the impact.

When Freedom 125 was crushed by a truck

The truck runover test of the Bajaj Freedom 125 was also done. The Freedom 125 endured the weight of a 10-tonne truck passing over it. The wheels of the truck crushed the CNG bike, but there was no scratch or dent on the CNG tank. The bike sustained damage in many places, but its CNG tank remained safe.

We found the pressure gauge in the same condition as before in this case, meaning there was no gas leak. Bajaj has also conducted side impact tests and vertical drop tests, in which the bike performed well.

For those of you who may not know, here's the foundation story. The Seltos is Korean carmaker Kia's first model for India and one that will improvise out in the ultra-aggressive fair size SUV fragment that is so far commanded by its cousin, the Hyundai Creta. That is correct, the Seltos has a familial bond with the Creta. Hyundai and Kia go under the umbrella of the Hyundai Engine Organization at the same time, put something aside for shared Research and development, the two substances work autonomously and are furious opponents in the business sectors they work in.

Do take note of, the Kia Seltos is far expelled from the current Creta, and is really based on another stage that will support the second-gen Creta that comes in mid-2020. The Seltos likewise utilizes new-age motors, which are all BS6 emanation standards consistent. On offer is a 115hp, 1.5-liter normally suctioned petroleum motor, a 115hp, 1.5-liter diesel, and a 140hp, 1.4-liter turbo-oil; while 6-speed manual gearboxes are standard fit, every motor gets an alternate sort of programmed transmission choice. The 1.5 oil gets a CVT, the 1.5 diesel is accessible with a 6-speed torque converter auto, while the 1.4 turbo-petroleum can be had with a 7-speed double grasp gearbox.

What it looks like from outside..?

First of all, allow's discussion to measure. The Kia Seltos is insignificantly more and more extensive (yet additionally marginally lower) than the Creta. By augmentation, the Seltos is more on the Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and Captur side of the medium-sized SUV field; the Goodbye Harrier, MG Hector, and Mahindra XUV500 are a lot bigger models.

Strikingly, the Seltos will be accessible in two styles – Tech Line and GT Line – with each having its own trims. The 1.5 oil and diesel variants will come in Tech Line structure while the sportier GT Line will be restrictive to the 1.4 turbo-oil. GT Line Seltos models, similar to the one imagined here, are recognizable by their smooth gem cut amalgam wheels, GT Line badging and red accents on the guards and sides. Inquisitively, however, just the front brake calipers come completed in red.
